Learn MoreHamburg stands as the undisputed logistics gateway of Northern Europe. Home to the Port of Hamburg (Hamburger Hafen)—Germany's largest seaport and the third-busiest in Europe—the city handles millions of TEU containers annually. This massive flow of goods requires highly efficient, robust, and smart material handling equipment to keep transit speeds high and operational costs low.
From the historic brick-lined warehouses of the Speicherstadt to the hyper-modern container terminals of Altenwerder and Waltershof, warehouse operators are facing a transition. Traditional hand pallet trucks are no longer viable for high-intensity, multi-shift demands, while bulky combustion-engine forklifts cannot navigate the tight vertical racking systems of urban distribution hubs. This has created an unprecedented demand for agile electric power jacks and lithium-powered pallet jacks.
Furthermore, Germany’s strict environmental laws and Hamburg's Climate Plan (Klimaplan) push businesses to minimize their carbon footprint. Utilizing modern lithium-ion material handling equipment is no longer just a strategy for efficiency—it is a critical step toward meeting local sustainability mandates and maintaining zero-emission indoor operations.
Where and how Staxx electric power jacks optimize daily operations across Hamburg's diverse commercial sectors.
At container freight stations near the Elbe River, speed is everything. Our lithium-ion electric pallet jacks enable operators to swiftly unload shipping containers, navigating narrow container doors with upright driving capabilities and minimal turning radii.
Hamburg is a major hub for temperature-sensitive imports like fruits, dairy, and seafood. Our specialized galvanized and inox (stainless steel) series are designed to withstand freezing environments and strict hygienic regulations without corrosion.
In the industrial zones of Billbrook and Allermöhe, mega-fulfillment centers operate 24/7. Staxx’s fast-charging lithium batteries allow for opportunity charging during brief worker breaks, eliminating the need for dedicated battery rooms.
Ningbo Staxx Material Handling Equipment Co.,Ltd. is a professional warehouse equipment company. Since the reorganization of the company in 2012, Staxx has officially entered the sector of manufacturing and distributing warehouse equipment.
Based on a self-owned factory, advanced product technology, and a robust management system, Staxx has formed a complete supplier system and created a one-stop supply platform, supporting over 500 dealers at home and abroad. Our main products contain material handling equipment, electric stackers, electric pallet trucks, hand pallet trucks, and high-precision lifting equipment.
With our focus on the European market, particularly logistics powerhouses like Hamburg, we ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards of safety, durability, and ergonomic comfort required by German operators.
“Make your job easier”: This is the core understanding of products, cooperation, and service throughout our company. Staxx warehouse equipment products aim to make the users' job easier and less effort-taking. Our advanced internal management system ensures better service and collaboration for dealers worldwide.
"Cooperation and win-win": Years of experience show that only mutual growth can create a better future. We develop only when our dealers grow bigger and stronger.
"People-oriented": The internal team is the biggest asset of Staxx. The development and success of the company is the direct result of our workers' efforts and commitment.
Why global logistics businesses trust Staxx for their material handling needs.
The core technology of electric warehouse trucks is the power unit, including the motor/transmission, controller, and battery. Staxx has the ability to independently design, develop, and produce core parts, and took the lead in developing 48V brushless drive technology. This technology has been tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland in a single test, ensuring complete compliance with European safety standards.
We build products that operators love to use. Staxx understands the actual needs of end-users in the market. By innovative thinking, we constantly make improvements on the functionality and comfortability of the products. We have acquired over 10 patents, including our intelligent diagnostic handle, the moonwalk narrow aisle solution, and advanced remote control systems.
Quality excellence is the result of strict, intensive testing and inspection. This is carried out by over 12 units of individual and self-designed automatic inspection devices. This rigorous testing and inspecting process offers our partners and dealers absolute quality assurance and peace of mind.
The partnership between clients and Staxx is highly customizable. We tailor our support—ranging from localized marketing strategies to robust after-sales service networks—to the specific needs of our partners in key regions like Germany and the broader EU.
As a new branch of the light-duty pallet truck tier, the Staxx lithium battery pallet jack was made for the call of the times. Traditionally, warehouse workers operated manual hand pallet trucks with a capacity of 2500 kg, but two adults can hardly push or pull such a load safely. A daily load of more than 500kg and an operating time longer than 3 hours can be harmful to the operator’s health in the long term. Using our lithium battery pallet jack, one operator can easily move 2500 kg of goods without any physical strain.
In 2013, some customers diverted their attention to a 1500 kg pallet truck with an AGM battery. It was a revolutionary product that created a new market segmentation—liberating people from heavy daily work with a compact size and low cost. However, its complicated service requirements and relatively high maintenance cost prevented it from fully penetrating the heavy-duty pallet truck market.
Today, the Staxx lithium-ion pallet jack offers the ultimate solution. It features a compact size similar to a manual hand pallet truck, upright driving capabilities for narrow aisles, and powerful performance. By powering the pallet truck with a lithium-ion battery, your body is protected from long-term occupational hazards, while easy after-service lowers the total cost of ownership.
Lithium battery technology is not new to us, having evolved from cellphones to massive applications in electric vehicles over the last decade. The fast-growing electric car market has driven technical support on lithium batteries, especially concerning battery security and performance. Our industry capitalized on this superior battery technology, resulting in increased productivity throughout the supply chain.
Compared to AGM or lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries do not have a "memory effect." Therefore, you may charge the lithium pallet jacks at any time and use the pallet truck immediately. Meanwhile, it is convenient for quick battery replacement, making multi-shift operations possible with two batteries. It is also more environmentally friendly and offers higher energy densities, further enhancing productivity in busy warehouses.
Discover how transitioning to lithium-ion technology drives efficiency and lowers operating costs.
Lithium-ion batteries have a much higher energy density than lead-acid batteries, meaning they can store more energy in a smaller, lighter package. On average, lithium-ion batteries have an energy density that doubles that of a traditional lead-acid battery.
Lithium-ion batteries last up to six times longer than lead-acid batteries. A typical lithium-ion battery can last up to 3,000 charging cycles, while a lead-acid battery may only last for 500 charging cycles.
Lithium-ion batteries can be fully charged in just 2-3 hours, compared to 8 hours for a lead-acid battery. Opportunity charging during short breaks keeps the equipment running through intense shifts.
Lithium-ion batteries do not require regular maintenance, such as topping up with distilled water or equalizing charges. This essentially eliminates the labor and costs associated with battery upkeeping.
Lithium-ion batteries can convert up to 95% of their stored energy into usable power, compared to only 80-85% for lead-acid batteries, reducing energy waste and electricity bills.
They do not contain toxic heavy metals like lead, and their manufacturing process generates less pollution and waste, aligning perfectly with Hamburg's green logistics goals.
