High-efficiency systems designed to streamline loading and unloading cycles.
How manual material handling equipment remains the backbone of global supply chains.
In the fast-paced world of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management, the process of loading and unloading cargo represents a critical pivot point. The speed, safety, and efficiency with which goods are transferred from shipping containers, flatbeds, and delivery trucks directly impact overall business profitability. At the heart of these daily operations is the manual pallet mover—a robust, highly maneuverable, and cost-effective tool that continues to serve as the backbone of material handling operations worldwide.
While automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and heavy-duty electric forklifts dominate large-scale distribution centers, the manual pallet mover remains indispensable. Its compact footprint, ease of operation, and zero-emission profile make it uniquely suited for staging areas, narrow aisles, and the interior spaces of cargo containers. When operators must navigate tight spaces inside a trailer to position pallets for unloading, manual equipment provides the tactile control and precision required to prevent cargo damage and structural warehouse accidents.
Cross-docking is a logistics practice where incoming cargo is unloaded from an inbound carrier and loaded directly into outbound trucks with minimal to no storage in between. In this high-throughput environment, manual pallet movers act as fluid connectors. They allow workers to rapidly clear staging zones without waiting for heavy machinery to become available. By reducing the reliance on electric charging cycles and eliminating complex computerized interfaces, manual trucks keep the workflow moving continuously, ensuring that freight transit times are kept to an absolute minimum.
Loading and unloading cargo presents several challenges that manual pallet movers are uniquely positioned to solve:
Manual material handling carries inherent risks of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) if operators pull or push excessive weights over long periods. Modern manual pallet movers focus heavily on ergonomic handle shapes, low rolling resistance wheels (such as polyurethane or nylon), and high-efficiency hydraulic pumps. These features reduce the initial pulling force required to move a 2,500 kg load, protecting workers and maintaining high productivity levels throughout long shifts.
Ningbo Staxx Material Handling Equipment Co., Ltd. - a professional warehouse equipment company
Since the reorganization of the company in 2012, Staxx company officially entered the sector of manufacturing and distributing of warehouse equipment. Main products contain material handling equipment, electric stacker, electric pallet truck, hand pallet truck and lifting equipment.
Based on a self-owned factory, products, technology and management system, Staxx have formed a complete supplier system, and created a one-stop supplying platform, with over 500 dealers at home and abroad.
The core technology of electric warehouse trucks is the power unit, including motor/transmission, controller and battery. Staxx has the ability to independently design, develop and produce core parts, and took the lead in developing 48V brushless drive technology. This technology has been tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland by a single test.
To offer products that end-users would love. Staxx understands the actual needs of end-users in the market. By innovative thinking, we constantly make improvement on the functionality and comfortability of the products and have acquired over 10 patents, including intelligent diagnostic handle, moonwalk narrow aisle solution, remote control, etc.
Quality excellence is the result of strict intensive testing and inspecting, done by over 12 units individual and self-designed automatic inspection devices. The testing and inspecting offers our partners quality assurance.

Upgrade from manual to lithium-powered efficiency for high-capacity warehouse operations.
Understanding the shift from traditional hand pallet trucks to modern lithium power.
As a new branch of the light-duty pallet truck tier, the Staxx lithium battery pallet jack was made for the call of the times. We used to operate manual hand pallet trucks that have a capacity of 2500 kg, but two adults can hardly push or pull it when fully loaded. A daily load of more than 500kg and an operating time longer than 3 hours could be harmful to the operator’s health in the long term. But now, operators can move 2500 kg of goods alone without harmful physical strain by using our lithium battery pallet jack.
Some customers diverted their attention to 1500 kg pallet trucks with AGM batteries around 2013. It was a revolutionary product that created a new market segmentation—liberating people from heavy daily work and quickly winning over end-users with its low total cost and compact size.
Although the 1500kg pallet truck with an AGM battery was popular, its complicated maintenance requirements and relatively high battery replacement costs limited its penetration into the heavy-duty pallet truck market. Warehouse pallet truck users with intense workloads were still looking for something easy, small, and powerful while labor costs increased yearly.
The lithium-ion pallet jack is the right product with a target budget and easy operations. The lithium pallet jack from Staxx pallet truck manufacturer has a compact size and powerful performance. With a footprint similar to a hand pallet truck and upright driving capabilities, our battery-powered pallet jack can be used in the narrowest aisles. Your body is liberated from long-term occupational hazards while a lithium-ion battery powers the pallet truck. Furthermore, easy after-sales service lowers the total cost of ownership.
Why modern warehouses are transitioning to lithium-powered material handling equipment.
Unlike traditional AGM or lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries do not suffer from memory effect. This means operators can perform "opportunity charging"—plugging the truck in during a 15-minute coffee break or lunch hour—without degrading the battery's lifespan. This eliminates the need for dedicated battery charging rooms and complex battery-swapping routines, allowing for continuous multi-shift operations.
Lithium batteries also feature significantly higher energy density. This allows manufacturers to build much smaller, lighter, and more agile pallet jacks that can still lift and transport heavy loads up to 2,000 kg. This reduction in truck weight is critical when operating on tail lifts or inside trucks where every kilogram of vehicle weight counts against the vehicle's payload capacity.
